Research & development

Role

PULSO developed the original editorial premise, researched internationally for unexpected real-world characters, verified their stories and achievements, and shaped each discovery into a potential documentary narrative.

The challenge was not to find “inspiring women”, but people whose lives reveal a specific form of practical intelligence — and whose stories could sustain a visually compelling, character-led short documentary.

Original concept · Character discovery · International research · Source verification · Editorial selection · Story development · Narrative framing · Visual & access research
Potential format

15 × 8–12 min short documentaries.

International. Character-led. Observational. Visually driven. Independently developed as a portfolio concept.
